Matcha comes from a fresh harvest from a farmer whose family has been cultivating tea leaves for over 850 years. 🌿 It is grown in harmony with nature and ancient Japanese traditions - tea plants are shaded shortly before harvest so that the leaves retain maximum chlorophyll, amino acids and their typical green power. After being hand-harvested, the leaves are gently dried and ground into a silky powder, which is then supplemented with pure natural, freeze-dried blue spirulina, an algae prized for its nutrient content, fresh color, and subtle earthy flavor. The result is a subtly sweet, creamy drink with refreshing notes and a light marine undertone.
