Enjoy unique coconut chips with skin imported from a Czech farm in Sri Lanka! The farm is located in the Kurunagala area, known as the "Coconut triangle". It is the place where the highest quality coconut is grown not only in Sri Lanka, but also in the world. The absolutely clean environment here, far from large settlements, the tropical climate of the rainforest, high-quality soil, irrigation system, manual labor and daily care are a guarantee of the highest quality crops. These purely natural coconut flakes boast an extra crunch and a rich coconut flavor. The coconut palm is called the "tree of life" due to its versatile use. After the coconuts are harvested by hand and peeled by hand, the pulp is carefully cut into coconut flakes, which are immediately dried at a temperature of 50 °C. This is the ideal temperature for proper drying of the coconut chips and not roasting. The whole process takes about 12 hours and the coconut cools for another 2 hours so that it can be packaged and transported for air transport to Europe. The time between harvest and when the product appears in our warehouse is approximately 2 weeks. This way, the maximum freshness of the packaged ingredients is maintained.
