The scent of this deodorant is delicate, floral with a hint of citrus, especially suitable for women.

Usage:

After showering, scoop up a small amount of deodorant with a spatula or finger and spread a thin layer into the armpits (preferably a thin layer several times a day rather than one thick layer). It is advisable to mix it with a spatula before use.

Apply it with clean hands or a spatula to the armpits and spread it.

Our tip: You can also use it as a deodorant cream for your feet.

When switching to natural cosmetics, especially when it comes to deodorants, the body sometimes needs a longer adaptation (approx. 1-2 weeks), during which a short-term increased odor may occur. 

To maintain quality, store in a dry, cool and dark place. At higher temperatures, the deodorant can soften too much - this does not affect its effect, but it would be advisable to store it in the cold.

This product does not contain any preservatives, synthetic perfumes or petroleum derivatives.

The deodorant eliminates unpleasant body odor by preventing the growth of bacteria that cause this odor by breaking down sweat components. At the same time, it does not prevent the natural removal of waste and harmful substances from the body - sweating. It therefore does not prevent the body from doing what is natural for it. Your body can still safely get rid of waste and harmful substances, unlike antiperspirants.

Although a nice scent is important, I was more concerned with each essential oil fulfilling its function - that is, having an antibacterial, antifungal, antiseptic effect and thus preventing the multiplication of bacteria. That is why I chose a combination of 4 essential oils for this deodorant in accordance with the aromatherapy I practice - geranium, litsea cubeba, lavender and bergamot. These essential oils have a strong antibacterial, antiseptic and antifungal effect. They complement each other, which further supports the effect (synergy occurs - their effects are multiplied).

arrowroot powder (arrowroot) also contributes to the removal of odor and moisture. The deodorant also contains antibacterial coconut oil, mango and shea butter, which are great for regenerating dry and sensitive skin in the armpits.

The deodorant also does not contain BAKING SODA, an irritating ingredient for many people.

I also found out firsthand that BAKING SODA, which is often recommended for making natural (handmade) deodorants, is not good for me. My armpits were all red-brown, sensitive and itchy and burning.

So I tried to find a recipe for myself that didn't contain it and I tried different oils, hydrolates, butters, essential oils...
