The serum combines the beneficial effects of white willow extract (salicylic acid) and the basic water phase - rose water.

Salicylic acid has been identified as part of the endogenous defense mechanisms of white willow (Salix Alba) and protects it from pathogens. White willow bark is a natural source of this acid, making it a suitable natural alternative to synthetic salicylic acid, which is used in many cosmetic products.

It is ideal for reducing inflammation, redness and has antimicrobial properties, without the irritation that usually occurs when using synthetic AHAs, for example. It is keratolytic, has a deep effect on pores and can effectively reduce blackheads. It is also suitable for the care of mature skin, reducing fine wrinkles and pigmentation.

Clinical studies show that a 2% concentration (which corresponds to a 1% concentration of synthetic salicylic acid, which was used for comparison at this concentration) can accelerate cell renewal by 26% (synthetic KS by 22%), after 4 weeks of regular application it improves skin firmness by 44% (synthetic KS by 32%). The effectiveness of both acids in suppressing the growth of S. Aureus and P. Acnes, where the natural form again proved to be more effective. This serum contains a 5% concentration (equivalent to a 2.5% concentration of synthetic salicylic acid).

Salicylic acid is also an effective aid in the fight against dandruff or excessive hair oiliness.

Damascus rose flower water (organic): maintains the pH of the skin, hydrates it, stimulates regeneration processes, has anti-inflammatory effects. Refreshes, soothes redness and allergic skin reactions.

Usage:

Apply 2-3 drops of serum to clean, toned and dry skin and massage into the skin (face, neck and décolleté). Can also be used locally. After absorption, always apply a face cream according to your skin type.

Use in the evening. Start with 1-2 applications per week, gradually increasing frequency to daily use. Do not use on broken skin or open wounds. Do not use in combination with other products containing exfoliating ingredients. Avoid contact with eyes. Mild tingling, burning and redness are normal reactions. BHA acids may increase sun sensitivity - limit skin exposure to sunlight for at least 24 hours after application and use appropriate SPF protection.
