The basic ingredient of the SOS zinc bar is neem oil, which is known for its strong antibacterial and antiviral effects. In combination with zinc oxide, they effectively act against the proliferation of bacteria, preventing inflammation and rashes, while shea butter soothes and supports skin regeneration.

The stick contains a mixture of essential oils combined according to aromatherapy principles, with the well-known Tea Tree oil dominating for even more effective antibacterial effects.

Although the zinc stick was primarily intended for treating rashes, scientific studies show that especially neem oil, but also tea tree, eucalyptus and lavender oils also have antiviral effects, making the stick suitable for treating lips with incipient cold sores.

Usage

After cleansing the skin, apply a thin layer to the affected area as needed. The stick is suitable for daily topical treatment. White spots may remain on the skin after application. The stick can be used as the final step after applying day/night cream.
