Vilgain Freeze-Dried Black Currant - Small Berries With Surprisingly Intense Flavor

In the package you will only find carefully selected blackcurrants gently freeze-dried. Thanks to lyophilization, it retains its typical sweet and sour taste, intense aroma and rich dark color without added sugar, preservatives or dyes. The result is a light and crunchy fruit that adds a distinct flavor to every bite.  

Maximum taste, minimum weight

Lyophilising takes place at low temperatures, thanks to which the black currant retains its natural taste, smell, color and most of the naturally contained vitamins and minerals. We first deep freeze the berries and then gently dehydrate them in a vacuum. Thanks to this, they remain pleasantly light, crunchy and have a long shelf life without the need to add preservatives.

A handful that transforms every meal

Add it to porridge, yoghurt, muesli or smoothie. It is also great for homemade granola, baking or for decorating desserts.  You can use the berries whole, or simply crush them into a fine fruit powder to flavor creams and toppings.
