Vilgain Organic Chickpea-Lentil Couscous is a valuable, gluten-free side dish full of complex carbohydrates and fiber. Unlike regular couscous, we make it from naturally gluten-free ingredients - chickpea and red lentil flour. Thanks to this, it boasts a higher content of vegetable protein, fiber and the super ability to keep you full for longer.

Couscous is an absolutely great ingredient for people who are always in a hurry or don't enjoy spending time in the kitchen. It's ready in 5 minutes and there's no need to cook. Just pour hot water over it in a ratio of 1:1.5–2 (couscous: water/broth) and leave it covered to stand.

You can use it as a side dish, make a “risotto” out of it, add it to salads or use it as a sweet base for a casserole.

Instructions for use

• Pour the couscous with hot water in a ratio of 1 part couscous to 1 part water.
• Cover and let stand for a few minutes until desired consistency is reached.
• Then mix with a fork and season to taste.
