Earl Grey BIO black tea is a traditional English tea that is among the best-known and most popular flavored teas in the world. The base is high-quality black tea flavored withnatural bergamot oil from citrus fruit. It has a strong and robust taste, which is suitable for morning encouragement.

Origin from the "land of a thousand hills"

The tea leaves come from the mountainous provinces of Rwanda, rich in volcanic soil and a cooler tropical climate that slows growth and intensifies the taste and aroma. For maximum quality, the leaves are harvested using the two leaves and a bud method. After harvesting, they are allowed to wither, then rolled, oxidized and dried. They are then enriched with natural bergamot oil.

A hint of invigorating theine

From our Earl Grey tea you will feel an intense hint of theine, the older name for caffeine, with a bitter and fresh citrus flavor, which can traditionally be softened with honey, milk or a drop of lemon. The tea is suitable for morning or afternoon sipping, or as a base for mixed tea-based drinks.

Intense taste 

Earl Grey black tea is recommended to steep for 1-2 minutes, which will bring out its typical slightly citrus flavor. With longer steeping, the flavor becomes fuller, with a tendency to gradually become bitter. Tea is best drunk freshly prepared.

Instructions for use

• 7 g of tea (1-2 tablespoons) pour 0.5 l of water (temperature 100 °C).
• Leave to steep for 2-5 minutes.
• Suitable for preparing one infusion.
